10 Must have Firefox addons for bloggers who browse alot!

by Vikas KM 5 comments

If you are a blogger freak and love Firefox then, here's a list of 10 must have Firefox addons for YOU!

1. Adblock Plus

If you are annoyed of ads and browse a lot websites this addon is must. Blocks ads and make the site loading faster if you have low connection internet.

2. No script

The best security you can get in a web browser!
Allow active content to run only from sites you trust, and protect yourself against XSS and Clickjacking attacks.

3. WOT

WOT, Web of Trust, warns you about risky websites that try to scam visitors, deliver malware or send spam. Protect your computer against online threats by using WOT as your front-line layer of protection when browsing or searching in unfamiliar territory. WOT's color-coded icons show you ratings for 21 million websites - green to go, yellow for caution and red to stop – helping you avoid the dangerous sites. Surf safer and add WOT to your Firefox now.

4. Stumble Upon Bar

I love this bar when you don't know what sites to browse.
StumbleUpon discovers web sites based on your interests, learns what you like and brings you more.

5. Better Privacy

Ever wondered why you are still tracked though you tried everything to prevent it?
BetterPrivacy is a Super Cookie Safeguard which protects from usually not deletable LSO's. It blocks longterm tracking on Google, YouTube Ebay and many other domains.

6. Web developer tools

The Web Developer extension adds a menu and a toolbar with various web developer tools.
You can test small snippets of code right there and see the results.

7. ReadIt Later

Read It Later allows you to save pages of interest to read later. It eliminates cluttering of bookmarks with sites that are merely of a one-time interest.

8. XMarks

Xmarks is the #1 bookmarking add-on. Install it on all your computers to keep your bookmarks and (optionally) passwords backed up and synchronized. Xmarks also helps you uncover the best of the web based on what millions of people are bookmarking.

Note: This Addon is available for Internet Explorer and Safari users too. Free download at http://www.xmarks.com

9. FireBug

Firebug integrates with Firefox to put a wealth of development tools at your fingertips while you browse. You can edit, debug, and monitor CSS, HTML, and JavaScript live in any web page...

10. GreaseMonkey

Allows you to customize the way a webpage displays using small bits of JavaScript.

Suggest any other addons which are your favorites.
