Today's post is a poll on whether we should have dofollow blog or nofollow blog?

What is dofollow?
In simple words Dofollow means you tell search engines that the comment url is a valuable link. Ie: your are providing a backlink to the person who comments.

Nofollow:
Having a nofollow may not get you more comments and thus less visits

Dofollow:
Having a dofollow blog can get you lots of comments but it also brings spams.

How to make your blogspot blog dofollow?
Making the blogspot blog dofollow is very easy

go to Dashboard, click on Layout go to Edit HTML and click on Expand widgets

Search for "nofollow" ... you may find two nofollow replace them with dofollow and just remove rel=”nofollow” by default it is dofollow.

I was wondering what you thought about dofollow backlinks also having key words in the name area. Do you think it is more effective, since the search engines are following that link?

Thanks for letting me know how to switch my comments to dofollow, I've been wanting to do that on my personal blogs for a while.

About dofollow vs nofollow, it's a pretty debatable subject. Dofollows are proven, but I don't think nofollows should be thrown out. Sites like StumbleUpon are proof that search engines to take account for those links. Thanks for the link and the tips!
