Twitter has become phenomenal success but, has tweeting?

by Vikas KM 2 comments

Twitter has gained its popularity very fast... reaching alexa rank of 23(Currently)

We tweet more than we digg, stumble or share on facebook but, is tweeting helping bloggers to spread and gain popularity of their blog?

I see many famous blogger posts they have 100 tweets and yet only 4 to 5 diggs.

I have 62 following yet when i share something the tweet disappears into more within an hour. I wonder do my followers even get to see my tweets who have like 1k to 10k followers?

This is an open question

1. Have we valued twitter more?

2. Do you guys prefer tweeting or other sharing form like digg, stumble, delicious or facebook?

I much prefer facebook in that there are far more features, such as the ability to write on walls, upload entire photo albums, etc. Twitter gets a little tiresome primarily because it is all about status updates... and unless you're representing a company or a celebrity no one is going to care *that* much about how you spend your day!

yes,
Facebook you have friends who you know so there is higher probability that the msg you write on wall gets noticed rather than twitter.

I prefer digg and facebook.
